　　有一天，媽媽給我買了一本《新華字典》。

　　One day, my mother bought me a new China dictionary.

　　我看書的時候，有一個“默”字不認識，又沒有拼音。我急地團團轉，拿起字典就想查，翻開字典傻眼了，我不會查。我翻來翻去，只好垂頭喪氣地放下了字典，心里很難過。媽媽見我不會用字典，就把查字典的方法交給了我。我按照媽媽說的方法去做，終于認識了“默”字，知道它讀“mo”自從我學會了查字典，看一些沒有拼音的文章也不發愁了。

　　When I was reading, there was a word "silent" that I didn't know and there was no Pinyin. I'm in a hurry, pick up the dictionary and want to look it up. I can't look it up. I turned it around, and had to put down the dictionary with despondency. I was very sad. Mother saw that I couldn't use a dictionary, so she gave me the way to look it up.
