This morning, I had an unforgettable English lesson. The bell rang and our history teacher came in. First he said that he was going to ask us some questions, and those who had not been asked questions recently would be asked first. On hearing this, I was very pleased, for I had been asked a question a week before. So I didn’t have to worry about anything. But unluckily, I was asked again. But I couldn’t answer the question. At last with a red face I had to say sorry to the teacher. The teacher didn’t criticize me. How shy I was at that time! After class, I thought and thought and came to realize that I should make good use of time, and never put off what could be done today till tomorrow.

How can we forget the lesson Mr Zhang gave us last month?
Mr Zhang was the only teacher who worked over-aged in our school. He should have retired from teaching last year. But he didnt want to leave his platform, his all students, and stay till last month. On the morning of April 22,Wednesday,he stood at the gate of the classroom as usual. The bell rang and Mr Zhang appeared on the platform.Much to our surprise,he was wearing the coat he wore for the first class a few years ago. Boys and girls,I am sorry this is the last lesson I give you. He wispered, tears came to his eyes.Hearing such words, all of us were shocked. Why? Mr Zhang. Why did you say that? It turned out that Mr Zhang had suffered lung cancer. He knew about that long ago but he didnt tell us because he didnt want us to worry about him.And now the disease had got worse and he had to receive treatment. We didnt and couldnt believe!
In the class,Mr Zhang encourged us to study diligently and be good perons in the future.

When I was a little child, I was so naughty that I always did something angry my parents. They always blamed to me, but I never listened to them. I thought they were too strict with me. But I changed in someday. My parents always told me to be careful when I went out. However, all I thought was they worried too much. On my way to take the bus home, there was a traffic light. That day, when I got to the cross road, the light was red, but there was no car crossed the road anymore. So I went across the road without the light turning to green.
At this moment, a car rushed quickly towards me. I was suddenly scared, so that I couldn’t move but stood still. Luckily, the driver broke the car quickly and I did not get hurt. But I did scared. I couldn’t image what would happen if the car did not stop in time. I told my parents what I experienced. At first, they blamed me as usual and I knew I was wrong that time. Therefore, I did not say anything. They realized that I was frightened, so they comforted me patiently. I finally knew that all they said and done was good to me. After that, I was much more careful and I listened to my parents.

This let us know more about the beautiful Lushan Mountain and inspired my infinite yearning for Lushan Mountain. After that, Mr. Ge also told us a lot of poems about Lushan Mountain, such as Li Bais watching Lushan waterfall. It turns out that Lushan Mountain is so famous in ancient times. As a student ,I don’t have any great event to talk about ,but here I want to share my experience of preparing for the high school entrance examination.
During the first three years of junior school ,we were very happy and free .But we often heard that Grade 4 would be a hell. After the final exam of Grade 3 in June, everything blew onto our faces : teachers’ changing , harder and harder texts , terrible pressure and of course the graduate exam .Where your position was on the listboard became the most important thing in our life .We had to study hard day and night ,always from 6:00 . to 1:00 or 2:00 . the next day.
But I must say that it’s really an unforgettable memory in my life. Under the pressure we lived our life to the fullest, and enjoyed the true interesting things that we may have never cared before. Grade 4 in junior school was a turning point in my life. My attitude to learning, my world outlook and my philosophy of life all changed. I turned to be positive and strong. I also gained many people’s true pure friendship, both teachers ’ and classmates’. In some way, I like that kind of life, as it taught me many things I’d never learned before.
Teachers also helped me a lot. I still can’t forget that my history teacher talked to me until 10:00 . on April 30th, 2003, for my application. My head teacher also encouraged me, so did my Chinese teacher. I should say, all my teachers worked very hard and always neglected their sleep and meals. Even if some of them were about 50 and often fell ill, they never left us one day .
The last and greatest challenge was of course the final exam, also my high school entrance exam. I felt very well and comfortable except my chemistry physics exams. The result proved that I couldn’t have done worse in them. But in total, my mark is . So then I became a student in the best high school of Hubei Province.
We, teachers and students, got together in East Lake Hotel on June 4th, 2003. At the moment of saying goodbye, I felt that my time of junior had gone ,and my senior time was coming .
Today, I looked at my graduate photos again ,and ,I smiled .
He once hesitated ,struggled, feared and doubted, like an ordinary man would do. But he just xxxstays at the door of fatexxx, as the name of his newly-written book says, and waits till the door opens instead of leaving during the half way. Then there comes a wholly new world where the beautiful dream lies .

When it comes to an unforgettable lesson, I always think of a lesson at the beginning of the year. The reason why that lesson is so unforgettable to me is that I took the stage to have a speech like sharing.
Thats a geography lesson in our class. Our geography teacher is a travel enthusiast. That lesson was transformed into a travel sharing lesson by our teacher. The students who have not traveled sit in the classroom as the audience, while the students who have traveled stand on the platform to share the travel story. Because my parents also love traveling, when I was very young, they began to take me to travel. Naturally, I stand on the platform to share the story of the trip.
It was the first time that I was timid to go on stage for a speech like sharing. I was so nervous that my heart jumped to my throat. Even now I still remember the feeling of sweating in my palm. What I share with you is my experience of going to Xian with my parents. When it comes to the terra cotta warriors and horses in the mausoleum of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty, only one or two of my classmates responded to me. When it comes to rougamo and cold skin, all the students cheered and shouted under the platform, which also made me nervous and timid to share with you the delicious food in Xian. I told you all the snacks that my parents and I had eaten in some food markets in Xian, so that the sharing would be concluded later Bundle up, many students who have never talked to me began to ask me what other delicious food there is in Xian after class.
I remember that in that class, there were several people who shared. What impressed me most was the sharing of my delicious Xian trip, and what impressed me most was the last crescent spring shared by our geography teacher. After the teacher said the beauty of Yueya spring, I also planted the hope to visit Yueya spring in my heart. I also hope that when I share the travel story in the future, I will not always introduce the delicious food that everyone likes because of timidity and nervousness. I will bravely introduce the truly beautiful but unknown scenery like the teacher.

Most people believe that regular hand-washing is the best way to prevent infections. And they’re right: hand-washing does prevent certain infections, but too much washing can actually help some infections along. What’s going on?
Right now, there are millions of bacteria from hundreds of different species happily residing on your hands, not to mention your teeth, gums, eyes and ears. These bacteria are either transients or residents. Washing your hands helps remove transientbacteria that are just visiting from foreign places like the sink, doorknob and even other people’s hands. Washing shouldn’t remove your hands’ own resident bacteria, though.
While it’s hard to imagine your hands as a bacterial homeland, these residents are perfectly normal and are important in maintaining your health. They help prevent transientbacteria from settling in, and each resident keeps other residents from overpopulating.
If you scrub your skin too frequently, especially with anti-bacterial soap, you could upset resident bacteria, leading to the overpopulation of certain species and local skin infections. Scrubbing away residents might also let transients move in and cause disease. Finally, over washing could break down the skin itself. This allows harmless skin residents to go beneath the skin, where they can become dangerous transients.
So, while a good wash with soap and water is still a great idea, overwashing might lead to some unpleasant symptoms, not to mention inflamed and unsightly hands.
