I think childhoodis the happiest period in life, because there are few troubles and worries atthat time. The only thing we worry about is our study. Therefore, it’s a timefor fun and enjoyment. In my memory, my childhood was colorful and interesting.I was born in the countryside, and I didn’t have many toys, just like otherkids in my hometown. But as a creative group, we could always make a lot oftoys by ourselves, which need no money at all. We could get all materials around.Toy-making process is of course very interesting. Sometimes, we might quarrelwith other kids because of different ideas, but we would get on well soon. Of course,I was to blame by my parents due to my naughtiness. Sometimes they even bannedme out. However, when I remember those things now, I often feel happy ratherthan sad or angry. I will always cherish my childhood in my mind.

Back to my childhood, I used to play many games. Hopscotch, was my favourite game. When I was a little boy, most afternoons I used to play hopscotch with my friends in our neighbourhood.
It' s pretty easy. We draw grids (squares most often) on the sidewalk or on the ground. After that, you have to hop into each square, from one end of the grid to the other. For example, we draw 8 squares on the floor. You start with square 1 and end in square 8.
If there are 2 squares together, you jump landing with one foot in each square;but if there is only 1 square, you must hop on one foot.
The game has some rules. If the player breaks the rules, he has to stop and another player takes a turn.
It is nice to remember playing games like hopscotch because it reminds me that I had a happy childhood surrounded by special people who always loved me.
